Hi,
I don't believe so. It needs to be Vista to Vista, or a Vista user can help
an XP user, but not the reverse.

Yes, I have used remote assistance to communicate between XP and Vista and
visa versa. It worked for 2 months and then stopped working. Must have been
something that was loaded on one machine or the other.
