Vista Business Edition on Media Center PC

Hi, I have a media center PC and would like to install Vista business
edition. One question I would like to ask is whether I can get all the media
center features and also graphics enhancement with the business edition? I
heard that they can be downloaded, is it true?

Vista Business Edition does not include any Media Center features.
If you were to install it, and then want those features, you would
then have to purchase and upgrade to Vista Ultimate.

I don't know if there is a seperate download, but since I have the
business version I know there's no media center (stupid Microsoft
decision) or direct disk burning. (dumber yet) If by graphic
enhancement you mean the cute features of Aero, yes that's supported
in the business edition if you have supported video card.

No Media Center doesn't come with the Business version and the features are
not downloadable. You'll need either Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate.

In your case, since you have the option and no obstacles, I would really
recommend do a "clean install".

How is that a stupid decision, was media centre available through retail
previously? Nope, it had it's own edition, and only came pre-installed.
Now it is available through retail.
Besides, Business is just for that, Businesses, how many business want there
employees playing with media centre all day, instead of doing there job?
If you need the media centre functionality, buy Ultimate, plain and simple.
and DO YOUR HOMEWORK, before making your purchase, or in your case,
downloading through torrent!

You're welcome. It appears to be a duplication of a table (with a few
