Hello,

I do this :
- boot on DVD, no problem
- Insert key, no problem
- select target partition, no problem
- I select "Custom installation" (the only option available)
- I select the partition, no problem
- I format, no problem

But when the installer says "Installing Windows", I have a message :
"Install Windows - Insert disc - Please insert Windows installation disc1".

What can I do ?

The DVD is still in the the DVD player of course ;-)

I'm on a DELL Inspiron 8600C - 1.5GbRam and 60Go hard drive.

Thanks,

Did you open the Disk drive and close it back and try again?

Yes I think.

Thanks,

Christian,

You'd be surprised how much the slow burning helps :o)

Well, impossible to reduce the speed burning :(.

Then I tried on a DVD+R .... same problem.

Thanks,

Nero - works a treat. Been using it for a good few years and never had a
problem :o)
