98se was best for gamers. XP is the best for most of us, IMO.
People need to learn that you can't do much without current Vista hardware
drivers.

If you think Win98 is MS's best OS, I guess that explains all the problems
you're having. Though I think teh real answer is that you just want to bash
Microsoft.

I'm not a huge fan of Vista and it's overly MAC OSX look and feel, and with
it's new, we'll stop the world (and the user too) security does make it a
bit of a challenge to get going. But remember, Microsoft brings in these
test groups of people and makes the OSes interface based on what those
people liked.

I run Vista (Fresh install) and I've gotten zero blue screens, much less one
every day. Program imcompatibility, that was teh same thing wien Win95 was
released, so what did you expect ?

I'm sure you'll be back sooner or later.

In general I am in full agreement apart from the OS X bit.

I find it rather sweet but still have a great deal to learn in it.

You're using a pre-release version and you're complaining about bugs? You
have driver issues which is expected, and software issues for software not
written for Vista, , and who knows what else but judging by this response of
yours you don't have much understanding of things. Have fun with 98.

Had the same problem and solved it by replacing my Wireless Microsoft!
keyboard and mouse combo with a logitech one.
It appears that some Microsoft wireless key board combo's are NOT compatible
win Vista, they prevent the screensaver from running and slow down your
computer in general.
Hope this helps you, please post back if this was useful.
