I'm regularly getting a BSOD when trying to convert video in Mainconcept, the
weird thing is that it runs ok for about 6-7 mins then all of a sudden kicks
out.
I've had a temperature monitor running and none them really go up much,
certainly not enough for that to be an issue.

I also thought it was going to be an issue as i was reading and writing to
the same SATA drive that the driver didn't like that but after trying it on
an external USB drive and getting the same resutls i threw that theory out
the window

The error it gives is Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal. File Ataport.sys.
0x000000D1, fffff980007E3682. etc
Then Base FFFFF980007DC000.

I've googled this for hours with very little luck but have seen that where
my file is ver.6.0.6000.16386 that there is a .16389 but can't find it
anywhere to download to give a try.

I've had a BSOD a few other times with my graphics card but have read lots
of stuff saying that theres issues with Vista at present and its just
awaiting an update.

If anyone has any advice or recommendations they'd be gratefully received.

My system is :
MSI 7235 (P965 Neo Chipset) Motherboard.
Intel Core2Duo E6400.
2GB DDR2 667MHz Ram.
320gb Seagate ST3320620AS HDD.
ASUS EN7950GT 512MB GDDR3 Graphics card(running latest 97.46 drivers-not
sure if maybe reverting back to Vista's own drivers may help - read that
they're decent enough)
Running Vista Home Premium 64bit.

Thanks.

Also-
Does anyone know if my current video driver 7.15.10.9746 is better or worse
than the ones shown on this page ?
http://www.nvidia.com/page/technolo..._downloads.html :
GeForce 6,7, and 8800 series v101.41 Beta driver
GeForce 6, 7, and 8800 series v100.65 WHQL driver

I have a Lenovo R61e Thinkpad and am having exactly the same problem as you I
am currently working with the Lenovo community to find a solution. If I find
one I'll let you know and I would appreciate it if you would do the same.
Thanks
