Hi All

I have just bought a comp with Vista Basic and have run into a problem. I
installed an email program (incredimail) for my wife on her profile and Avant
Browser for myself on my profile and there are altogether 4 different
profiles on the computer. When logged onto my profile I can launch
Incredimail and I can see all my wifes emails. When I'm in my wifes profile
I can launch Avant and I can see all my bookmarks, history, google searches
etc. Obviously this is a potential divorce situation so does anyone have any
ideas on why this might be happening.

Thanks

'Profile' is a bit ambiguous in this context. Do you each have your own
login name, with separate passwords? Do you really 'log out' of your
user account when you're done using the computer, so that the next
person has to 'log in' with a different name and password?

If not, then that is the source of your problem -- you are all using the
same user account, which is a no-no for privacy.

Yes we all have our own user accounts, mine is the admin, rest are standard
users and we tend to switch user rather than log out.
