Does anyone know how to get round the Vista block on cookies. I upgraded from xp where I had no such problems to vista basic. Now if I want to check cookies I get the box 'cookies not accessible access denied' and though I've tried all the avenues I know so far I haven't found a solution.

What if you disable automatic cookie handling or something?

Why would you need to look through the cookies just out of curiosity - it's easy enough to delete them...

Well, the "normal way" is to go via ... Tools/Options/Privacy and or Advanced tab ... Override Automatic Cookie handling and tick the relevant boxes. In XP you have a "slider" in Vista it is boxes to tick.

Installing a new OS should always be done via a Clean Install. ;)

Many thanks everyone. Seems I was going about things in a pretty weird way. I have now ticked the relative boxes and everything's fine.
