1 - In windows explorer backsapce no longer goes up a directory, it goes to
the previsouly visted dir same as alt + left arrow. there's no shortcut for
going to parent dir.

2 - In command prompt, droping a folder to the windows is disabled, in
previous versions of windows it gives the path of that folder. (this applies
to files too) Also please add a shortcut key for pasting.

3. Restart your computer no longer prompts for user confirmation.

4. there should be a way to use the simple XP picture preview slide show for
slower machines.
the new one is a lot slower and more resource intensive with all those 3D
effects.

What do you guys think?

1) Still works for me... anyone else?
2) This is to be fixed - I'm sure this was available in previous builds, and
am sure it'll be in future builds.
3) + 4) I see what you mean.

1. Go to Computer and type in c:\windows\system32 in the address bar
If you hit backspace in vista it goes back to Computer last visited folder
in previous versions it goes to the parent dir which is c:\windows\

3. Restart your computer no longer prompts for user confirmation.

Whoopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! At last, Microsoft has recognized that I do know
what I'm doing when I click the "shut down the machine" button, and no
longer questions me about my decision!
What do you guys think?

Now, if we could just convince Microsoft to let us have control over our own
machines and stop asking for permission to do our everyday tasks. I mean,
Windows needs permission to open the Device Manager? Gimme a break!
