I have Vista Home Basics and its a new computer. I downloaded Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition and it downloaded okay. It says tho that it is incompatible and should go to samantec and download an update. I get that far and I am lost. Can't find an update.. Not that puter savvy. Can anyone help.. It worked on my laptop okay.

Hi,

For Home users, Symantec has Norton AV 2008 or Norton 360, both can be found
here: http://www.symantec.com/norton/products/index.jsp

Personally, I would steer far away from anything Symantec distributes.

I abandoned using Symantec products years ago: they slow down your system and
support is non-existent.

What version do you have 2006, 2007...? 2008 is the version that is
compatible with Vista. If you have 2007 you should be eligible for a free
upgrade to 2008. I would go to Symantec Support and ask them in a live
chat.
