Vista and icacls

I am trying to use icacls to backup to a file, all NTFS permissions yet I
cant figure this out. I am using 'icacls c:\* /save aclfile /T' but no joy.

Any ideas?

I am trying to back up all ntfs permissions to a file.

All I want is to create a file that has all ntfs permissions in it that I
can then restore if needed.

What exactly is the error? Does it not save all the ACLs or
do you get some error during the save?
