Vista and Hibernate

I'm having a problem with Vista 64 Ultimate and that is that when the sytem
goes into Sleep or Hibernate and then I hit a key to to bring it back to life
I get a screen that looks like someone just messed with my horizontal hold.
Nothing is readable and I have to reboot. I thought it might be related to
AMD's Cool and Quiet, but I disabled that with no success.

Have you updated your video card drivers?
