T
trouble
I no longer dual boot so I no longer notice how slow Vista is for every disc
access operation.
I accept that arcane permissions and unstable networking are normal in
everyday use and this is my fault and not Microsoft's.
I find the spinning circle hypnotic, if not vaguely erotic.
I accept that the Vista driver for my late model laser printer is incapable
of queuing multiple documents without spitting out reams of laser printer
hash while the XP version of that driver has no such problems.
Clearly there is a conspiracy by the peripheral manufacturers to write the
many problematic Vista drivers and there is nothing wrong with the driver
model in Vista.
I look forward to the UAC asking me if I want to do anything without telling
me why I might not want to do something. Anything that goes awry with Vista
is clearly my fault and not Microsoft's.
I enjoy gambling whether my machine will emerge from standby or hibernation
in a working state.
I am looking forward to what is rumored to be a forced "upgrade" to IE8.
I cannot wait to pay for Vista SP3, I mean Windows 7 and am excited by the
driver incompatibilities I have encountered in the Win7 64 beta!
