Sorry is a stupid question but I am still awaiting an upgraded graphics card
to come in because the one i currently use is too weak. Would it be okay to
install the graphics card after i install vista ultimate first? In other
words will the aero feature be automatically enabled right after i change my
graphics card. Thanks everyone for your help.

Short answer, yes.

If it doesn't automatically turn on (which it has done on my system) right
click an empty area of your desktop and click Personalise, then click Window
Colour and Appearance and select Windows Aero.

Hi,

Just remember to uninstall the current graphics drivers before turning off
the computer to install the new card.

Yes but you might want to wait to activate Vista until after you install the
new card otherwise you may need to make a phonecall to them. This will save
you time. Do all the updates you need to do, then activate. You have 30
days so its not life-threatening.

Yup. I'll be ok. You'll get limited "pretty features" until you install a
better graphics card, at which point you'll get the features that your new
graphics card supports (or at least be able to enable them... I think it
will be automatic)
