Noticed there is an adprep folder on the vista cd. Do you have to prep a
windows 2000/2003 domain before joining a vista computer to your domain.
Currently my domain schema is windows 2003 R2.

I am using the RTM release. I can find any info on this except it may be for
"longhorn" schema update. Why is it on the vista cd then. Does the scheme
update have anything to do with the new GP files (ADMX)? Anybody?

It may, there should be no need to update an AD schema version until
Longhorn is introduced into an AD Scehema. The Files in this folder may be
to allow Win200x servers to add the Vista Group Policy additions so they can
manage them before Longhorn. I will not know for sure until tomorrow
(hopefully) when I can get RTM from MDSN.
