I am looking for some answers since no one seems to be able to tell me.
I have a laptop that is using a limited license being that it is limited to
the one machine. In this case my laptop.
I had some issues and sent it in for repair. It needs a new motherboard and
for 25 dollars more I authorized a better processor, still 32 bit, but 1.7
Ghz to 2.3 Ghz. It couldn't hurt for 25 dollars.
I have not received the system back but last night it occurred to me that
the license is dedicated to the same machine. I am sure that Vista Ultimate
32-bit will recognize a change.
Is this going to be a problem? Does anyone know?
