I've d/led twice and burned two DVD's. Running Windows XP pack two on one
partition (c) . I have a clean partition (d) for Vista x64. Ran xp pro 64
fine on this partition..
Vista won't boot. (Trying to Boot from DVD to Install) I get to the pretty
blue/green vista screen (after "loading files") and it hangs. No drive
movement, nothing.

Running:
AMD FX-57, ASUS A8V Deluxe MB, 2g 2ch Ram. Was Oc'd but set back to norm to
see if that was the prob.
300g IDE and 2x 250g Sata Drives. Water Cooled (not that that really
matters..)

Any suggestions?

You don't mention which actual drive you are attempting to install to, but
you do need to manually load the drivers for the SATA controller during the
installation process.
