Hi All
I only work for friends and relatives and was asked replace Norton with Kaspersky recently. The laptop had Vista and I struggled a bit with uninstalling Norton - couldn't find 'Add and Remove Programs' in Control Panel. Eventually did it but can't remember how (62 last birthday).
Thought I would install Vista on my main PC to get some experience of it -
Asrock K8NF4G-Sata 2 MB, with 2GB RAM and Athlon 64 3200+ CPU.
Have seen Vista Home Premium OEM 64 bit for £78 from eBuyer and 250GB SATA 2 HDD at £36.
Is this an OK set-up for this machine?
Thanks in advance

Whatever you do DO NOT BUY VISTA now.

In a few weeks it will be a dead duck and it was flawed from the start.

On October 22nd Windows 7 will be released which is basically an improved and speeded up up version of Vista.

It's what Vista should have been.

Wait and buy Win 7 as Vista will be going the way of the Dodo.

This.

Hang on until 7 is released, but order now as the price will go up. ;)

Thanks both
Will take your advice.
Have ordered 'Vista for Dummies' to help with problems mentioned.
Cheers
