Hi. I recently installed Windows Vista Beta 2 x64 on my Athlon 64 system and
plugged in my Belkin F5D7050 wireless G usb adapter, only to find out that,
of course the drivers didn't work. I did windows update and it said that it
found a driver for my adapter (the driver it gave me was for a Ralink RT73
Wireless LAN card). I installed the driver and the device still doesn't work.
For instance, when I set it to search for wireless networks nearby (which it
should find mine), the activity light on it doesn't even flash once. It
hasn't flashed ever since I plugged it in after installing Vista. So my
question is, is there a driver that would work with my adapter, and if there
isn't could you recommend a low cost wireless usb adapter that would work
with Vista Beta 2 x64? Thank you for your help, Landon

Unfortunately, there are no USB wireless NICs working on x64 at the
moment. If you have built in Ethernet, you can attach a wireless
gaming adapter like the DLink DGL-3420 to the Ethernet port and work
around the issue that way.

Landon,
You might want to try the Ralink website and download from them. I was able
to get my AirLink101 AWLL5025 USB adapter working last night using the Ralink
website driver installation program. After you install it, you have to go
into your device panel and manually update the driver. Use the "browse
yourself" option and point it to the directory the Ralink program installed
and find the .inf file.
