I bought computer from Fujitsu-siemens with Windows Vista 32 bit. I have
8GB ram and to use it I need 64 bit Vista.
Do I have right(license) to run Vista 64 bit on this machine? Where can
I get than recovery DVD to run 64 bit Vista?

Regards

Yes they have drivers because I've got DVD with drivers for both 32 and
64 bit.

first of all, ask Fujitsu-siemens if the warrantee will not be void by
changing the os, and if they have drivers for 64 bit

Contact Fujitsu-Siemens customer support. If you have the right to install
64-bit Vista on this computer, then Fujitsu-Siemens will be the source for
the install media. They can also tell you about driver availability.

yes you can run 64 but you must purchase the OS and you will need all the
drivers for your system to make it work properly.

But as I know there is no seperate licenses for 32 and 64 bit Windows.
If you have 32 bit, you have right to install the same version 64 bit.

The laptop came from Fujitsu-Siemens with 32-bit Vista, making
Fujitsu-Siemens the vendor of record. Any questions related to the license
for the software, any upgrade opportunities if any, should be directed to
them.

Cheers,

Earle
