Just a shot it the dark, but has anyone been able to get a Visioneer 7600
usb, flatbed scanner to function with Win2K?

I loaded the 2K driver, followed instructions from the visioneer site, and
the scanner does work.... to scan. The problem is linking it to a printer.
I get the message "Paperport printer link problem".

I know, officially, the 7600 is not supported under 2K. Just thought I'd
try.

I've been using the Windows "Imaging" but the scanned images become too
grainy to print.

Thanks in advance,
Scott

Try Downloading free Irfanview, and using Irfanview's TWAIN interface to
scan from the Visioneer, then print from Irfanview. Get the Plug-ins also,
Irfanview is limited without the plug-ins.

For making copies, try scanning at 150 to 300 DPI.

Quit trying to use the one push button, it is not worth the trouble.

It is very easy to scan, then print from Irfanview. Irfanview does printing
very well. You do not have to save the image to print, but you can save the
image if you want to keep the scanned image.
