virutal memory

I am having problems w/virtual memory errors at the start
up. when i log in (w/admin rights)& set the parameters
(or have the machine adjust itself), the machine is fine.
when the user logs in, the errors return. any thoughts on
why? any suggestions would be great.

When setting the specs,make sure you hit the set button
twice,then close-out.If set,you should be prompted to
restart computer,if not,the settings might not be entered
