Virusscan won't update

Hi

I've just bought a replacement computer and have installed my McAfee
Virusscan v10, retail version. It installed OK, but when I tried to make it
update, it checks for updates, then offers an "Update" button to click on,
but when i do so, that dialogue box just disappears and nothing else
happens. I've configured it to autoupdate, but even that doesn't seem to be
kicking in. I had expected to have to register again &/or provide my current
registration details, but just zilch.

Any ideas on how to progress?

Did you use the Blue Link for Current Accounts to Login? Right-click on
the McAfee M and see if there is a
link for Product Registration or Product Setup. You need to reregister in
order to obtain Updates.

You need to allow Popup Windows in Internet Explorer for it to work
correctly. And you need to login into your Account and have it remember you.

Would love to, but when I try to do so, nothing happens.

Would love to, but I can't get that far in.

But have decided to have a life instead of trying to sort this - have now
installed NOD32
