Hi all,
Since last week i have been inundated with emails
containing attachements, which our anti-virus software is
recognising as viruses.
i am getting about 60 per hour and it's getting very
frustrating having to keep deleting them all. When i came
back in the office this morning, there were hundreds to
delete.
Also i keep getting loads of emails telling me of
undelivered mail, even though I haven't never seen the
various email addresses before.
How can I stop this?

Regards

Iain

First, take a look at this:
http://www.cdt.org/speech/spam/030319spamreport.shtml

Second, if you're quite tech-savvy, look at the email header, track
back the FIRST ip address which sends out this mail. Use some software
to make a reverse DNS search or tracking system to get its network
administrator and send a mail to him to ask him kindly to do something.
Yes, "kindly" because it's mostly not his fault and sometimes it's a
crappy Win machine got hijacked to send virus.

That's what I've been doing since the Blaster boom weeks ago ......
