Virus?

My computer was fine the other day, then today it is running at full power, CPU 100% usage constantly. Everything is slow, and it crashes and I can't even run a virus scan because in 8 hours it got through 2000 files only. Please help me fix this problem it is driving me crazy

Use safe mode on bootup to fix it.

It may be some bad secotrs on the HD.
