I keep getting mail from Microsoft that I don't open since I know it's a
virus. I get about 15 of these a day. Is there a way to stop this.
Apparently someone has the virus and I'm in their address book. Thanks.

Hi Karen

You can set up some 'Rules' for those messages via Message>Create Rule From Message... or you use a program to check your emails before you download them - Mailwasher is one:

http://www.mailwasher.net/
I advise mailwasher
Its one of thos programs that once you use you wonder how you survived
before

Also don't use your real address when posting in newsgroups,
since it can be harvested for purposes like this.

You can't stop someone sending you mail, but you can use filters
in your E-mail program to recognize and delete them when they
arrive. How to do this depends on what E-mail program you use.

On my computer Outlook express just ignores any rules that I set. Very
annoying and odd. I now just use mailwasher first. From Message... or you use a program to check your emails before you
