virus ++++++++++

I am running a computer using windows 2000. Out of no where some type
of virus has infected my pc.
It started inserting the plus sign ++++++++++++++ eveywhere the cursor
was placed. In word documents, address bar of internet explorer, search
boxes etc. Has anyone any ideas

Try using a different keyboard.

It happens even if I don't touch the + sign

You don't have to touch it. You probably have a dirty key (underneath)
or something else gone wrong in the electronics of the keyboard.

As What's said, try another one.

My son's computer started to go crazy the other day with all
different kinds of errors,mulitple windows opening,click"start"and
the system would log off,all kinds of weird stuff,a new keyboard
fixed it right up-lol

As others have suggested, replace the keyboard, or at least try
"playing" with the cable.
