Virus?

I am getting this msg all of a sudden:

Your current security settings prevent running ActiveX
controls on this page. Pop-ups worse than ever - screwy
stuff.

What is this? Driving me nuts!

May be a virus. May be malware of another sort.
If you don't have AdAware and SpyBot, it is time to get them. And run them
at least once a week.
