I heard of a virus that automatically turns a computer on
and off whenever it's connected to the internet. I have
two computers that are doing this. Using another
computer, I found where I can get an update that takes
care of it, but it's not needed on that computer. Any
idea how I can get the update on a computer other than
the one that needs it?

There are anti virus News Groups specifically for this type of discussion.

microsoft.public.scripting.virus.discussion
microsoft.public.security.virus
alt.comp.virus
alt.comp.anti-virus

I specificically advise reposting this question in one or both of the following News Groups.
The reason I sate this is that there are representatives of Anti Virus companies that
post/reply (some anonymously) in these two groups.

alt.comp.virus
alt.comp.anti-virus
