Just rebuilt my xp parition, updated to sp2 installed programs etc.
Downloaded latest Lavasoft Ad-Aware. When I run it I get a virus alert from
Avast, file is price.exe which is in some temp directory buried deep, forget
exact path. Identified as win32-BeagleCraw[Trj]. I let Avast delete it,
doesn't seem to do anything bad, but never had this before. Anybody else
seen this?

Problem solved. I had saved a bunch of files for my daughter while she was
changing jobs. One of them was call newprice.zip which contained the
price.exe file. I hadn't checked archive checking in Avast so it never
picked it up. Apparently Ad-Aware unpacked the file and Avast sprung into
action. After forcing Avast to check archived files it of course found it.
From now on Avast will check archives!
