Want to fill us in a little on the background?

It seems to me that you've gone to a lot of trouble to create a set of
circumstances to fit a pre-conceived idea.

I wonder why?

what part of I uninstalled the beta but the process hangs
around

don't you understand?

you can't delete it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a virus

It's a memory hog VIRUS

you cant get it off without formatting the hard drive!!!!

delete EVERY REG key, uninstall it

try to wipe it

it recreates itself and runs again

slowing your system

IT'S A VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A virus inserts itself into a normal process and then uses that process
to replicate itself to then take over other hosts -

This is NOT a virus.

A poorly uninstalled application - sure.

THAT'S WHY IT'S CALLED A BETA

I have three machines I uninstalled this from this week and there is no
process or files left. It behaved itself very nicely while it was on
them as well.

You should give us more details and a history so that we can help you.

OS version
Patches
Other security software
History of malware infections

Steps taken to remove any stubborn processes.

This sounds as though perhaps you have a partial install--a bit like the
ones that never let you get out of the initial setup wizard after the
install finishes.

If you kill all the processes involved--I think there are at most three, via
task manager, you should be able to remove it without issue.

how do I remove the virus, my cpu usage is at 100% and I
can't run any programs except explorer

See my newest reply to Mark's original message. This may
be a virus. If it is, Symantec recognizes and cleans it.
