virus w32,hllw,studd

hi does anybody no how i can delete this virus w32,hllw,studd of my pc i
have Norton anti virus 2003 & ive followed there help page which tells me to
disable system restore then run Norton 2003 but it doesn't find the virus
but if i run synmantic on line virus scan it finds this virus can anybody
help me with this matter

Turn off system restore.
http://www.pchell.com/virus/systemrestore.shtml
run a full virus check.If it is clear, then,
Reboot the computer
Turn ON system restore and set a new restore point.

ive tried what you said ive disabled system restore then ive run a full
virus scan & norton says no virus's found but if i do the on line virus
check it tells me that i still have the virus any ideas many thanks
....chris
 
Have you run live update in Norton to ensure that you have the latest
virus definitions installed, and set Norton to scan all files. If you
have, then the online scan is probably giving a false positive

yes taff i did so it looks like iam getting a false reading from the on line
virus scaner many thanks for your help....chris
