Virus that re-starts pc??

Hi,

I have a friend who's pc keeps re-starting on it's own, I think it maybe a
virus, if so which and can anyone give me a website on how to get rid of it?
She also isn't sure if her pc has a virus checker, so it doesn't look good.

Partner went DMZ to play Links online tonight and got Blaster within very
few minutes
That'll teach him not to update windows or run virus scanner!

Possible it's the new msblaster. But other viruses have that symptom.
Start with on-line scanning, try http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ or

By using Windows 2000 or XP on the internet without the patch.
