What is the best virus protection software for a gamer? ...one that won't make your system crash or slow down.
 
Norton AntiVirus or pc-cilin

I personally like AVG - not as intrusive as the Norton "suite." Any virus
s/w, however, will end up slowing a system down if you're playing a game as
it starts a system scan- so watch when you schedule it.

I like AVG myself. Much less intrusive than either Norton (Symantec) or
McAfee products. And they supply updated definitions all the time.
