Virus Scan

I upgraded to XP yesterday, A few problems along the way.
That stupid messenger for one.
The seconf is McAfee Virus Scan won't work. I've tried removing to
reinstall, you name it I can't get it to work. The icon will appear on the
desktop, click on it and nothing, or it says that it is an invalid shortcut.
Click on it under programs, nothing.

Which version of McAfee? You may have a version installed that is not
compatible with XP.
