Virus protection

I want to open up my virus protection and can't find it on my computor. I need to view it so I can ensure my virus protection is set up to scan incoming e-amil.
 
Go to Start/All Programs and start searching. I guess you really don't know
if you actually have any antivirus protection on your computer, do you?
