Virus Protection -- check Status

Hi

i installed windows xp with latest Windows updates ,Norton antiVirus is
updated to Latest definitions.i got webroot Installed.

Problem is Security center reports "Norton AntiVirus is Installed But its
status is Unknown'.

what 's wrong .can you help me

It is normal you should n't depend on security center anyway because Norton
taken Over and should disable the Security Center and well in control of the
security of your system, we hope! .

Hello.

Norton's old versions simply tell the Security Center that they are
installed and nothing more . New versions of Norton (2006,2007) even include
their own Securtiy Center and urge the user during the instalation to use
Norton's Center and fully disable Windows Security Center as a service . If
you want to use Norton and this pop-up worries you , goto
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Security Center

Choose "Change the way the Security Center ..." and uncheck Antivirus.
This way Norton will work but the Security Center will not know and will not
notifies you .
