Am currently running WinXP
AVG Virus Program
Pest Patrol
Trojan Hunter Guard..

Assumed anti-virus programs were supposed to be just that -
Anti-Virus. They should stop and eliminate virus' before they
get to your hard disk.

I've received four virus' in the last month. When I run a scan,
which I do every four days, I get a message I have a virus.
Hell, it probably has been on my comp for 1 to 4 days.
None of the programs will *clean* or *delete* them. All I can
do is send it to the virus vault in AVG.

Got another one this morning. Can find no info on this one.
It's C:\HP\bin\Terminator.exe HKTL_PROCKILL.A

Anyone have any info on this one ?

Thanks in advance............

I have a Hp Pavillion running Win ME and I have the same subdirectory
and file. McAfee alerts as:

Application ProcKill.-Term

but only when I set the /program switch which has the purpose of
alerting on potentially malicious commercial software. I'm not
concerned with it since KAV and F-Prot don't alert. I imagine it's
some sort of process killer app supplied by Hp but I haven't
investigated it. Don't worry about it. It's apparently a heuristic
alert.
