On my daughters XP she gets a popup saying to delete a
virus. However she has already used an anti-virus program
and deleted the virus. I'm telling her that her popup is
wrong. Any advice to get it to stop?

Could by some sort of spy or advertising, trying to get her
to buy a product... download and run both of these to check
(copied from another message)
The two best spyware killers are free(no need to buy anything)
spybot -- http://www.safer-networking.org/
ad-aware -- http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

Also, depending on the virus and the removal tool and on her
service pack level... if she was infected once, she may have
either a re-infection or even a completely new virus

Does she run a firewall?

If it was a virus, and it's a legitimate popup, and if the virus was in one
of the "system restore" folders then your antivirus package wouldn't be able
to delete the virus. If that's the case you need to disable system restore,
reboot, scan for viruses then re-enable system restore.
