While in Windows Live Email, a box popped up saying windows must shut down.
Then a 2nd window popped up saying Dr Watson Postmorten Debugger, and did I
want to report it, I said yes. After googling, it seems this could be a big
problem. All my scans are clean. Advice? Thanks

Have a look in the System and Application logs in Event Viewer for
Errors and Warnings and post copies here. Don't post any more than 48
hours ago.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer. When researching the meaning
of the error, information regarding Event ID, Source and Description
are important.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

Gerry, Thankyou for your info, however, I don'e know what it all means. I'm a
newbie. I found the event viewer and found 4 Red errors, but I'm not
understanding what I'm supposed to do about it. If you could, could take me
step by step, really like you're talking to a 10 year Old? I thank you so
much

No, reporting it is only part of it. The error description may have a
link in it which may have pertinent information to resolve the issue, some
do and some don't. Post the description information into a reply to this
thread as instructed by Gerry and we'll have a look at it. You can also
search the net using the information in the description to find a possible
resolution.
