Use something like 'WinISO'. It'll open the ISO file like an archiving app
and you'll be able to read / extract the contents "per-file". IIRC, you
can delete files from the app too. At the least, you could use it to
extract the entire contents.. use your AV to scan and clean / delete
infected files and then re-package it as an ISO again.

hi,

thx ive got winiso and avg now cleans the file, but the file disappears
after cleaning, avg should keep the file it only takes it away if it cant
clean it, but avg says its found and heeled it so it should stay in the
folder, trying to work out whats up as its not in the virus vault of avg
either, strange :o(

Many files infected with a "virus" can indeed be cleaned.
The virus is called "Trojan horse Downloader.Small.AR" on the file
"AutoRun2.exe"

Generally, trojans are not viruses. In some cases a file can be
de-trojanized (if it is a good program gone bad), and in many
cases there is nothing at all good about the file (it is just a bad
program), and only needs to be deleted.

Have you considered the possibility that AVG gave you
a false positive? If it really is malware, most other AVs
capable of detecting trojans will see it also. It is best not
to trust any one AV to decide a perhaps needed file is bad.

Hi,

I've just had AVG pick up the same "Trojan" in Tron 2.0 (which I
just bought and installed!

Again, the alleged offending file was called Autorun2.exe. I'm
pretty certain it's a false positive

Anyone else had this?
