virus help

Hi
i think my pc has a virus when on the internet. it take's a long time for
the page's to load up and whan i try to view a video on the net. it keeps
stop's and gos my qustion is if i do have a virus do i need to tune off my
system restore. remove restore points to remove the virus if so how do i do
this?
i hope this make's sense

thank you i have vista home premium with sp1 i am useing ie7

Have you done Disk Cleanup lately? Type "cleanmgr" into Start/Search and
hit Enter.

Then use an online virus scanner to find out if you really have a virus.
You well may not but may have other issues. Some scanners to use are: (they
all take a while)
