Virus corrupting freeware programs

Hi, when my last PC died, I bought a used PC at a
computer show. It seems to have had a virus on it.

Great dealer :)

The virus is w32.pinfi. It's corrupting my freeware's
executables and then I can't use them anymore.
Does anyone know if ANTIVIR can get rid of it.

Just got a great idea...why dont you download it and give it a try...

Trend Micro named this little thing PE_PARITE.A and you can read about
it here. :

If you take a round with their onlinescan, it should remove it..
