virus alerts

when i boot up my computer a virus alert comes on saying
a certain program exe. file may have a virus and letting
me know to delete the file . i have tried to delete the
file but it wont let me. how do i get rid of that
message . even after a virus scan it tells me this file
may have a virus and to delete it

Depends on the AV application and the virus in question. You will need to
disable System Restore to proceed with removing the virus.
