i just got windows xp home ed. and like ill have up 2
webpages and my IM and a little window will popup and say
my virtural memory is low and thats its trying to expand
it. ill start up my computer in the morning and by 10pm
at night ill have to restart it because it will start to
move verry slowly help.

To view virtual memory,R.click my computer, properties,
advanced tab,virtual memory,change button.
Theres not much to adjust really, however increasing
ram will take the load off the v.memory, adding another
hd,even a small GB type you could set to the page file.
The settings should be,1 1/2X ram min.3X ram max.

Open Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and look for an entry for the
Intel Application Accelerator. If it is listed then select it and
click on Add/Remove to uninstall it. Reboot the computer and your
problem should be resolved.

And if the Intel Application Accelerator was installed then you should
go to www.intel.com and download the latest version of the Intel
Application Accelerator and install it.

If that does not resolve the problem then see MVP Alex Nichol's
article on Virtual Memory in Windows XP at
http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.htm especially the section dealing with
problems.

Good luck
