Thanks for posting the link... I've been using VMWare workstation but
definitely want to check out VPC 2007.

Is this one free like the 2004 version?

It's free. As far as I know, 2004 was not free.

Free. Not trialware.

Hello Synapse Syndrome!

Thanks!

Although the Vista Home Premium x64 edition, that I'm running, isn't
mentioned, under the System Requirements, it can be installed on this OS
anyway.

After having installed VPC, and started an existing VPC image, I got an
error msg. telling that my OS version isn't supported.

However, it seems to me, that my existing Win2000 VPC image is running
flawlessly, as it did when I was running VirTualPC 2007 beta, on WinXP64.

Kind Regards
LDJ

Stay with VMWare. Any Vmware users will be disappointed if switching to
VPC2007.....

Why? I am genuinely curious as I have only run VPC2007. What are the
differences?

VMWare Workstation is not yet fully compatible with Vista. Their next
version (version 6) will be.
