Virtual PC and Build 5536

I see this Vista build has worked in Virtual PC for some people. I got an
error when trying to install off the DVD (after successfully upgrading a Beta
2 machine with the same DVD).

Any special things you need to do before installing it under Virtual PC?

Ed,

I didn't do anything special with the setup, other than give the VPC 512 MB
RAM.

download vmware server for free

install vista

install the vmware drivers

shutdown

manually change the vm file and disable the mem trim and the mem file
(improves performance)

download the vmware player and run the image (very fast), the server is
good, but the player is very fast
