low on virtual memory, even though I may only have
FreeCell,Outlook Express,Messenger and IE open.Is this
usual or do I need to adjust something?I've 32GB out of

For the relationship between RAM and Virtual Memory, check here...

If the PC uses an Intel chipset it is possible that the Intel Application
Accelerator is not functioning correctly, especially if the operating
system has been reloaded without first deleting the I.A.A.

Look in Control Panel|ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. If the I.A.A. is listed,
delete it. Problems should cease.

However, it is wise to install the latest version, after reading the
documentation...

If your ram is 256 or less you can increase the size of
your paging file to compensate. Go to system properties,
performance, settings, advanced, VM, change, custom size,
fill in the blanks and hit set.
