virtual memory

A message popped up, several days ago, saying virtual memory low. Now there
is several minutes of beeps when I start up my computer and when I click on
start a line rolls over the different programs. When I click the mouse, I
never know where it will land. When I am on a website, it scrolls down to
the bottom. I did a virus scan and 0 were found. Is there something I can do?

The beep codes coming from your motherboard during startup indicate a
hardware problem. RAM is the first suspect, since you are seeing errors
about that. I would download a good memory checker to find out if that is
it.
