Virtual memory

I keep getting a message in the toolbar saying that my
system is low on virtual memory. Ive deleted a majority
of my mpegs and mp3s and now have very few but the
message is stil appearing and my system is runnign
slowly! Does anyone know how i can resolve this? Any help
would be greatly appreciated

You should be able to fix the problem by increasing your

Start
Control Panel
System
Advanced
Performance-Settings
Vitual Memory-Change

Here you need to set BOTH min and max to approx. 2 times
the amount of RAM on your system. For instance, if you
have 256MB of RAM, min and max should be set to about
512MB. This should solve the problem.

Adding more ram will help.However to chk v.memory,R.
click my computer,properties,advanced,v.memoty,change
button.The min is 1 1/2 X ram,max is 3X if set to low
select custom,type in specs,press the set button 2X to
set,back-out,if set correctly youll be prompted to re-
start computer.Actually there isnt much to adjust here
unless specs are off,you need hd space to control v.
memory no matter how much ram you have.
