Have a PC 192 megs of Ram. Tried loading an external CDRW and it hosed the machine. Reloaded XP Home after deleting the program. still having an issue with virtual memeory being set to low. Went into system/advanced to increase virtual memeory it would not keep the changes. Boot up is dog slow. Error code is recommending geeting into BIOS settings and changing cache. Any thoughts?

Intel chipset? If you reloaded XP without first removing the Intel
Application Accelerator from Control Panel|ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS, then this
could be the cause of virtual memory errors. Remove it now, and things
should clear up.

Then go here, read up, and install the latest I.A.A. - for greatest
efficiency (though it's not mandatory).
